Award Requirements

Principal’s Honor Roll & Honor Roll Requirements:  (Grades 4, 5 & 6)

To qualify for the Principal’s Honor Roll, a student must earn a 4.0 grade point average (GPA) during the trimester and be in attendance at Cloverland Elementary during the time period being honored.

To qualify for the Honor Roll, a student must earn a 3.5-3.9 grade point average (GPA) during the trimester and be in attendance at Cloverland Elementary during the time period being honored. Additionally, no “C” grades may be earned during this period.

The Most Improved All-Around Student Award: (Grades 1-6)

This award is bestowed upon two students from each classroom every trimester. Determination of this award is at the sole discretion of individual classroom teachers. We established this award to publically recognize a student’s increasing level of effort, engagement and determination at school. Effort might be in the area of attitude, participation, attendance, perseverance, academic effort and or other areas where significant improvement is made. Our goal is for students to see that those individuals demonstrating the most effort, improvement and grit get recognized too!

Perfect Attendance Award Requirements: (All Grades)

Trimester:

To qualify for perfect attendance, students must be in attendance at Cloverland Elementary each day of the trimester and they may not have any tardy days during the time period. Additionally, students must be present 51% of any partial day in order for that day to count toward perfect attendance.

Year Long:

Accelerated Reader Award Requirements: (Grades 1-6)

Trimester:

In order for students to meet their goal for the trimester, they must demonstrate an average of 80% or greater on comprehension quizzes and meet at least 85% or more of their assigned goal to reach award status.
